When I was born, that was the first day my Mom smiled because I cried.
When I die, I want you all to smile because I made our country proud.
You want to know why?
If i die in a war zone, box me up and send me home. Put my medals on my chest, tell my mom i did my best. Tell my dad not to bow, he won’t get tension from me now. Tell my brothers to study perfectly, keys of my bike will be his permanently. Tell my sister not to be upset, her brother will not raise after the sunset. And tell my love not to cry, I’m a Soldier, and was born to die.
Remembering the GALLANT SAF 44.
